Recent project – Fire Captain Hume and son

This is another installment of the Campo Citizen of the Month series I am doing for the Backcountry Messenger, published  by Tony and Lynn Neff.  Mr. Hume is a Captain of the Campo Fire Department and a hugely respected member of the Campo community.  Once again, I am going to bitch and moan a bit about the quality of the photo I had to work with (couldn’t even discern the color of their eyes!).  But it was otherwise a delightful project.  The Captain’s face is etched with grand character, and his young son is the very defintion of cute. Great fun to paint.
